by-hand selection subtracting
- Choose the hand-draw selection tool
- Place it where you want to begin the selection
- Click the left mouse button
- Dag the cursor along the path of your desired selection
- Let go of the mouse and the tool will "close" the selection area.
- To subrtact part of the selection, hold down the Ctrl key and select the area you DON'T want of the original selection.
- Let go of the mouse and keyboard.
