By-Hand intersecting Selection
- Choose the hand-draw selection tool
- Place it where you want to begin the selection
- Click the left mouse button
- Dag the cursor along the path of your desired selection
- Let go of the mouse and the tool will "close" the selection area.
- Hold down BOTH the Ctrl and Shift keys
- Select another area that overlaps the first area
- Let go of the mouse and the intersection of the two areas will now be selected
